Musky Fishing

Are you ready to catch the next world record musky? In fact, many world record muskies over the years have been netted right here in Northern Wisconsin.

If you are ready to feel the adrenaline rush of catching a trophy muskie, Mark Haynes will give you the best chance to make it happen. It is a common occurrence for our customers to catch muskies of 50 inches or greater.  We use a mixture of casting and trolling, depending on the season and conditions, to put fish in the boat. An average catch of one to five fish during a daylong trip is common. If you are ready to catch a muskie that will impress your friends, we are prepared to put you on the fish.

Rates are for a full-day trip per party/group. Includes approximately 8 hours of fishing time.

Mark is an amazing guide. He was incredibly patient with a novice and I learned so much about fishing. His boat is beautiful. I caught my first Musky! Very exciting.

We had a great time with Mark! Great insight and learned a few new things while out on the boat. Was very friendly and we would definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide in the Eagle River/Land O Lakes area!

Mark has been guiding for me and my family for many years.  Let me just say, Mark knows how and where to catch fish...walleye, northern, bass, name it, he knows how to guide us into them.  He’s great.  Even better, he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.  Keeps a clean boat and knows how to teach the novice and experienced angler how to feel for that nibble on the end of the line. Next time you’re in the area and want to catch some fish, I’d suggest you call Mark.

“Uncle Mark” has been my family’s annual fishing guide since 2012.  Mark is patient, informative and wants to get you fish!  I would highly recommend Mark for novice fishermen, fisherwomen and kids, as he gives helpful instruction and tips, but not in an overwhelming way.  Mark might seem shy, but he’s got some witty one-liners that will crack you up.  He’s comfortable with periods of quiet time; perfect for my uncle’s occasional boat snooze, and joins in with classic fishing stories, when applicable.  My cousins and I might make him blush at times with our stories and shenanigans, but he now knows to expect them.  We always have a blast and love filling up the stringer with walleye.  Being out on the water with Mark is always a highlight for my family each year.  Can’t wait to keep a tight line with him this fall!

Mark is a soft-spoken, no pressure type of guy.  You feel comfortable with his guidance and he puts you on fish.  No question: as many guides as I have used over the years, Mark provides the best experience.
